   Software Developer/Post Doctoral Fellow The Indiana University Bio-complexity Institute seeks a Research Associate or Post Doctoral Fellow to participate in research on the development and improvement of the Tissue Simulation Environment (http://www.compucell3d.org). Skills include experience in C++, Python, and GUI design. Candidates should be able to interact with users and be able to work in small team environments. Position will offer opportunities to collaborate on new research projects and participate in publications with Biocomplexity Institute scientists. Areas of interest include Monte Carlo methods, stat. mech., fluid dyn., PDEs, and modeling of biological systems. Numerical modeling and parallel programming are required and having a (M.A or Ph.D.) scientific background. Initial appointment will begin as early as Sept. 1st, 2009, and is expected to last one year with extension possible, subject to satisfactory performance.
