| Description: |
- To carryout the literature search and compilation of the data for various bioinformatics application in Genomics as per the project needs.
- Provide for practical applications of genomic data generated by ABI SOLiD and other platform and have a biological framework.
- Installation of the various softwares including CLC Bio Workbench and Genomics Server and data bases used for the NextGen data Analysis.
- Using Linux, Bioperl and other computer language to bulid the pipeline and algorithm for data analysis, Data base maintenance and to integrate various data/ databases.
- Development of bioinformatics tools for functional genomics, annotation and comparative genomics using next generation technologies data with biological function and phenotypic information for a single species or across multiple species.
- Custamization of genome browser and/or development of the data visualization tool and there improvement thereof.
