HONOUR AND AWARD

  • GATE 2006 qualified organised by IIT-Kharagpur in Life Science

MASTER’S PROJECTS

  • PREDICTION OF TOPOLOGY OF TRANSMEMBRANE HELICES IN PROTEIN SEQUENCES WITH HIDDEN MARKOV MODEL (HMM)

Details: I used Matlab as an editor for coding in this project. I have developed HMM and decode the sequence by using different decoding algorithm of HMM.

Advisor: Prof. A.K.Gupta

  • DETECTION OF TATA BOX IN E.COLI PROMOTER SEQUENCE USING POSITION WEIGHT MATRIX

Details: I used Matlab as an editor for coding in this project. I have developed 0th order markov model and detect within the sequence the TATA BOX region by using Position Weight Matrix.

Advisor: Prof. A.K.Gupta
