Jan 2003 to Jun 2003: Worked as Senior Research Analyst in Biosciences Research Institute (Amityindia Group) and also served as a Senior faculty member for Bioinformatics Institute of India, Chennai.

Also Worked as Assistant Research Consultant in Gemeiosys Research Labs Pvt. Ltd. Chennai. Worked in the team coordinating various projects and acted as a crucial domain person in solving the problem in-silico.

June 1999 to Aug 2000: Gained research experience for 1 year as a M.Phil scholar in Dr.A.L.M.Postgraduate institute of Basic Medical Sciences, University of Madras, Chennai, by submitting a dissertation on "Studies on Antimutagenic effects of Spirulina".

'Vitamins and Hormones' was first published in 1943,and is the longest-running serial book published by Elsevier Academic/Press.'Theoretical model of human ghrelin precursor'(PDB ID: 1p7x) predicted by me is printed and cited on the coverpage of 77th volume of the above mentioned prestigious book.

Projects:

Project I OpenDiscovery
This project was conceptualized and guided by me towards creation of high performance Live Linux for Molecular Modelling applications accessible via Flash Drive. This Live distribution can be downloaded from www.opendiscovery.org.in

Project II Toxin Database
This project is done for the Singapore Client at Gemeiosys Research Labs. I was involved in the design, 3D modelling, identification of novel ligands and Functional annotation of different toxins protein sequences.

Project III Bioweave
This project involved the development of comprehensive sequence Annotation tool. I was involved in schema designing, paramaterical analysis and software testing.

Project IV PL-Database
This project involves the identification and depositon of proteins involved in autoimmune diseases and the ligands interacting with it. It also comprises of various physical and chemical properties of the proteins and ligands. I am involved in sequence annotation and macromolecular interaction studies using different molecular modeling softwares.

Project V
Carried out project entitled "Sequence analysis and Homology Modelling of Pseudomonas aeruginosa acyl carrier protein" as a partial fulfillment of Postgraduate Diploma in Bioinformatics. 3D model predicted is published in Protein Data Bank (Accession No: 1OP7)

Project VI Carried out project entitled "studies on food and feeding habits of marine fish Caranx Kurra "as a partial fulfillment of M.sc. Degree course.
